At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a judge in Antioquia (Control de Garantias) issued a detention order with imprisonment against Josué Fabio Osorio Osorio, alias Chepe, the alleged leader of the criminal structure La Oficina and one of the most wanted criminals by the authorities in Antioquia.

During a hearing (audiencias concentradas)1, a prosecutor from the Special Office against criminal organizations charged the defendant with aggravated criminal conspiracy and attempted homicide. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges.

According to the evidence, alias Chepe assumed command of La Oficina after the arrest of alias Pichi, Tom, and Clemente. He was allegedly in charge of coordinating all activities related to the sale of drugs, extortions, forced displacements and selective homicides in the so-called Comuna 16 and Antioquia neighborhoods in Medellín.
