Jhonatan Bermúdez Chala, alias Boquita, who is considered one of the greatest aggressors of Farc demobilized former combatants and human rights defenders in Chocó was sent to prison at the request of a prosecutor from the Special Investigation Unit. 

Before a supervisory judge, alias Boquita was charged with aggravated forced displacement, aggravated criminal conspiracy and illegal possession of weapons.

The evidence gathered by the Office of the Attorney General shows that this person would be part of the criminal substructure named Pablo José Montalvo belonging to Clan del Golfo which commits offenses in the Colombian Pacific, and that would be linked to the murder of the indigenous leader Aquileito Mecheche that took place on  April 13, 2019.
