The Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, ratified his commitment to advancing in all the lines of investigation on Odebrecht case with the sole objective of finding out those responsible and accept the legal consequences.
“There has been a mismanagement of Odebrecht case, that is, there are no concrete answers to a variety of issues that Colombia claims. As Attorney General, I want this investigation to move forward. Initially, it was assigned to Delegate prosecutors before the Tribunal and I want to assign it to a higher level, Delegate prosecutors before the Supreme Court”, stated Attorney General Barbosa.
In this sense, he pointed out that, by assigning the 35 investigations related to the network of corruption to the Unit of Delegate Prosecutors before the Supreme Court of Justice, the process was strengthened and unified to obtain results in the 14 lines of investigation that have been established.
