At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence for Fabio Jesús Molina Muñetón, Juan Sebastián Gaitán Arenas, and Luis Eduardo Suárez Osorio for their alleged participation in storing drugs.
During home searches carried out by the National Police, with support from the Colombian Aerospace Force, at various locations in the urban area of Honda (Tolima), these three men were arrested in fragrante. Moreover, 60 doses of basuco, 35 doses of marijuana, and two cartridges (38 caliber) were seized.
According to the investigation, the Attorney General’s Office found that the defendants were allegedly part of the criminal group La Línea de la Dorada (Caldas), which was involved in storing, packaging, and selling narcotics in Honda and surrounding areas.
A prosecutor from the branch Office in Tolima (Seccional Tolima) charged them with aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime; trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics; and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
