The evidence collected by the Office of the Attorney General led to the prosecution of Luis Miguel Hernández Tordecilla for his alleged responsibility in the murder of a man on January 1st in Montería (Córdoba).

A prosecutor charged him with aggravated homicide. In the preliminary hearings, the defendant did not plead guilty to the charges, and must serve a prison sentence according to the judge’s decision.

The defendant, who was in possession of a sharp object, allegedly attacked the victim after having an argument with his former sentimental partner, who was in the same location.

The investigation determined that the alleged aggressor initially attempted to attack his former sentimental partner, who managed to escape, and then suddenly leaped on the man.

Hernández Tordecilla wounded the victim, who was taken to a medical center where he died as a result of the injury.
