At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, two men, 22 and 26, were sent to a prison for their alleged responsibility in attacks against their former sentimental partners that took place between 2024 and 2025, in El Retorno and San José del Guaviare (Guaviare). 

The defendants were charged, according to their individual responsibility, with violent rape, damage to property, animal abuse, qualified theft, and aggravated domestic violence (all aggravated). 

In a first case, a man who allegedly carried out sexual, physical, psychological, and economic aggressions against his former partner was arrested at El Retorno (Guaviare) Police Station. The defendant allegedly injured the victim’s companion animal and damaged her personal belongings as part of the intimidation. 

In another case, a man was arrested in flagrante after allegedly attacking his former sentimental partner. The latest attack took place at the woman’s residence where she was physically and verbally abused. 

The man allegedly subjected the victim during their cohabitation to sexual abuse and physical harm. Therefore, the victim had various doctor´s notes.
