The Attorney General’s Office brought Jahn Carlos Orobio Salazar before a judge in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) for being allegedly involved in manufacturing, trafficking, and drug possession.
The facts under investigation took place on September 3rd when the defendant was inspected by the National Police. Eleven rectangular packages of cocaine were allegedly found in his possession inside two styrofoam coolers which underwent the Approved Preliminary Identification Test (PIPH). The final weight of the substance was 23 kilos.
The man was brought before an URI prosecutor in Buenaventura for prosecution. At the hearings, Orobio Salazar did not plead guilty to the charges.
The man was placed under preventive detention at the National Police’s temporary detention center known as Marte, by virtue of a judicial decision.
