Other seven alleged members of the organization were prosecuted last August. 

At the request of a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Cúcuta (Seccional Cúcuta), a judge ordered Lucas Antonio Gómez Torres, alias El Tuerto, to serve a prison sentence for alleged aggravated conspiracy and drug trafficking, manufacturing, or possession. 

It is believed that Gómez Torres, 43, is a member of criminal group known as El Combo de la Frontera, which is allegedly engaged in drug trafficking and distribution in La Parada of Villa del Rosario (Norte de Santander). 

After 10 months of investigations and surveillance, the defendant was arrested by National Police officers by virtue of a court order on August 31st in Villa del Rosario. During the hearings, alias El Tuerto did not plead guilty to the charges. 

On August 26, other seven members of this group were prosecuted and sent to prison.
