At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence on Miguel Ángel Urrutia Gamba for his alleged responsibility in the murder of a man on March 20, in Quimbaya (Quindío). 

In this regard, a prosecutor appointed to the so-called Unidad de Vida, charged him with aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges. 

According to the investigation, the incident occurred in a sector from González neighborhood in which Urrutia Gamba allegedly shot a man several times, who died at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. 

National Police officers executed the court order on a public road in Policarpa neighborhood at the same municipality.
