The evidence presented by the Attorney General’s Office allowed a judge to impose a prison sentence against Juan Sebastián Trujillo Quiza, alias Mi Gorda la Bestia; accused of murdering a 17-year-old teenager in Neiva (Huila).
A prosecutor appointed to the so-called Unidad de Vida (Life Unit) charged him with aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition. He did not plead guilty to the charges.
According to the investigation, the facts took place on March 12, 2023, in Olaya Herrera neighborhood. Trujillo Quiza allegedly shot the young man several times, causing his death.
The man was arrested by the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI), with the support of the National Police, as a result of a home search operation in a property located in Álamos Norte neighborhood of this city.
