The evidence provided by the Attorney General’s Office allowed a judge to impose a prison sentence on a man, accused of murdering his partner, in the Las Brisas neighborhood of Timaná (Huila).
A prosecutor charged him with aggravated femicide. He did not plead guilty.
The events occurred on February 26, in the area known as El Zanjón, where the couple allegedly had an argument due to jealousy. At that moment, the defendant, apparently, attacked her on the head, causing her to fall.
When the victim was on the floor, he allegedly suffocated her, causing her death.
This man was arrested by the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) with the support of the National Police by virtue of a court order, on a public road in the municipality.
