The Attorney General’s Office brought José Luis Vallejos Figueroa and Jhonny Fernando Mora Cuasialpud to a judge as they were allegedly involved in the transportation of 2,150 grams of ketamine.
Both people were arrested in flagrante by the National Police when they were traveling in a truck through the rural area of Presidente in Buga (Valle del Cauca).
The vehicle was inspected and 215 bottles, each one with 100 grams of ketamine, were found. They were packed in boxes that were hidden under a shipment of potatoes.
For these facts, a prosecutor appointed to the branch office of Valle del Cauca charged the defendants with trafficking substances for the processing of narcotics.
The narcotic and the truck were seized by the authorities. After approving the request made by the Attorney General’s Office, the judge imposed a prison sentence on the defendants. None pleaded guilty to the charges.
