The evidence presented by the Attorney General’s Office allowed a judge to sentence Edwin José Cárdenas, alias La Burra, 42 years old, responsible for the murder of Anderson Ascencio Fajardo, to 33 years and 3 months in prison.
The facts under investigation took place on November 10, 2014 in the area known as 12 de Octubre in Bucaramanga, where the now convicted man shot the victim in the head and immediately fled the scene. The Office of the Attorney General charged him aggravated homicide and illegal possession of weapons.
During the investigation, it was established that the now convicted man threatened Ascencio Fajardo with death, apparently due to personal differences.
