The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted three men who, in different facts, would be responsible for robberies that took place in Cartagena (Bolívar). The defendants were charged with qualified and aggravated theft.
The alleged robbers did not plead guilty to the charges, and judges imposed prison sentences against them.
In one of the cases, this measure was imposed for Roberto Carlos Bellido Ruíz and Jorge Luis Rodríguez Mendoza who, allegedly, stole the motorcycle from a man in Amberes neighborhood, on December 3rd.
On the other hand, on December 9, Ángel Manuel Delgado Blanco allegedly stole a cell phone from a 15-year-old student who was walking in Nuevo Bosque neighborhood.
The people who got involved were arrested in flagrante delicto by the National Police, in addition, they were found in possession of the stolen items. The men will be sent to the so-called San Sebastián Ternera prison in La Heroica.
