The victim was allegedly attacked repeatedly with a bladed weapon.
The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office allowed the arrest and prosecution of José Antonio González, for his alleged responsibility in the crime of his former partner, which took place on November 27, in the industrial zone of Neiva (Huila).
A prosecutor appointed to the so-called Unidad de Vida charged him with aggravated homicide. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charges and a judge imposed a prison sentence.
According to the investigation, on the day of the facts the man arrived at the motel and booked a room, the victim allegedly arrived one hour later at the place.
Hours later, the defendant left the place, and he stated that he was going to buy a drink, but he did not return. The manager, upon realizing what had happened, he went to the room and found the victim without vital signs.
The evidence shows that the woman was attacked with a knife on several occasions. She passed away due to the severity of her injuries. A knife cover was found at the scene inside an artificial garden that was in the room.
Members of the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) arrested this person in the Canaima neighborhood in Neiva.
