The Office of the Attorney General brought Andrés Felipe Pérez Rubio, alias Río Sucio; and Kevin Stiven Martínez Pineda before justice since they are allegedly responsible for several violent robberies in Yopal (Casanare).
The defendants were charged, according to their alleged individual responsibilities, with manufacturing, trafficking and possession of firearms or ammunition; qualified and aggravated theft; and receiving stolen property. None pleaded guilty to the charges.
Apparently, the defendants used a house in Villa Salomé neighborhood in Yopal to store the stolen items. There, a home search proceeding was carried out and a firearm with ammunition, a motorcycle and several cell phones were seized. In addition, the arrests of both men were carried out.
At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the judge imposed a prison sentence.
