At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, judges sent six men, allegedly involved in homicides that took place in Cali (Valle del Cauca), to prison.

The defendants were charged with aggravated homicide, attempted homicide and; manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.

The people involved are Iván Torres, Antonio Serjei Gómez Sandoval and Oscar Bolaños Delgado who allegedly attacked several defenseless citizens with firearms and sharp weapons.

On the other hand, Daniel Valdés Lozano, alias Mangualo, was prosecuted for allegedly being involved in the attack of a citizen with a sharp weapon on a public road. The victim was taken to a hospital, where doctors saved his life.

Juan Pablo Burbano Arenas was accused of allegedly attacking a woman, who was wounded with a knife. Apparently, the attacks were committed due to the fact that the woman did not agree to have relations with him. The victim died in her home, where the defendant arrived to commit the crime.

Finally, Alfredo Alejandro Micolta Castillo, alias Kandú, was charged with aggravated homicide. The facts took place in Mojica neighborhood in Aguablanca, where he attacked a citizen in the neck with a knife, causing his death.
