Both women were arrested in flagrante delicto in an inter-municipal transport bus after, apparently, they had stolen money from a man in San José del Guaviare (Guaviare).
The facts occurred this March 16 on a public road in the sector known as ‘La Cuarenta’, where the victim was stolen $4,000,000 COP while he was distracted talking on his cell phone.
The Police arrested the women when they tried to flee the city on an intermunicipal bus. Only $1,900,000 COP were recovered.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged the women with aggravated robbery. The defendants did not plead guilty.
