The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office allowed a judge to send Elmer Arned Briceño Pinzón, alias Bicho to prison. He is allegedly responsible for participating in the murder of three men on March 9 and May 18, 2023 in Paratebueno (Cundinamarca).

The defendant was arrested by the Police and the National Army on August 27th in the Melua Navajas of the municipality of Puerto López (Meta) and was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, homicide, manufacture, trafficking and illegal possession of weapons, all aggravated. He did not plead guilty to the charges.

Briceño Pinzón would be a member of the Gonzalo Oquendo substructure of the Clan Golfo that commits crimes in this area of ​​the country and who, apparently, was the perpetrator of the homicides that occurred in Macapay Bajo and Nuevo Milenio neighborhood of this municipality of Cundinamarca.
