The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted two men who allegedly participated in the murder of a married couple in facts that took place on March 24 in Chinácota (Norte de Santander).

This is about Yimmy Alexander Medina Colmenares and Brayan Alexander Ontiveros Córdova, who were charged with homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; both aggravated.

According to the investigation, the defendants, along with other people, planned the crime to seize the money that the victims were carrying.

Due to these facts, Medina Colmenares and Ontiveros Córdova were arrested on June 26. These operations were led by Sijín National Police during search warrants carried out in La Victoria and Betania neighborhoods.

The wallet of one of the victims, a traumatic weapon, cartridges and several cell phones were found at these places.

A judge imposed a prison sentence on the two men.
