A judge imposed preventive detention measures against four men and three women allegedly responsible for petty drug dealing in five sectors in San José del Guaviare (Guaviare).
The defendants are Juan David Zuluaga Lesmes, Rubi Zoraida Riveros Torres, Mario Enrique Sandoval Hernández, Paula Alejandra Sandoval Hernández, Hadwin Alberto Sandoval Hernández, Edward Nova González and Elvia De Jesús Lesmes Parada.
These people were allegedly selling marijuana and bazuco at small scale and offering home delivery in neighborhoods such as: Bicentenario II, Arazá, Primero de Octubre, the tolerance zone and the port of San José del Guaviare.
The defendants were arrested by National Police during home searches carried out in Bicentenario II and Divino Niño neighborhoods.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendants with trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics. They did not plead guilty to the charges.
The judge imposed a prison sentence against all men and house arrest against all women.
