13 alleged members of the drug trafficking network were sent to prison.
A prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Huila prosecuted 13 alleged members of the criminal group La Banda which is involved in the sale of narcotics in the municipality of La Plata (Huila) and its areas. These illegal actions were committed since July 2023.
The defendants are: Brayan Aleider Rojas Muñoz, Juan Manuel Cuellar Zapata, Luis Andeimer Rojas Muñoz, Jhon Jairo Muñoz Oino, Drigmen Rolando Chaux Pastuso, Diego Alejandro Lemeche Paya, Cristian David Yara Trujillo, Brayan Camilo Perdomo Ramírez, Luis Anibal Chávez Rodríguez, Felipe Montiel Ocampo, Yerleni Audor Rivera, Marlon Stiven Rey Quiroga and Maikol Darío Castro Javela.
The defendants were arrested by the National Police in La Plata during eight home searches. Marijuana, cocaine, four punching machines, two cell phones, a traumatic weapon, a firearm and ammunition of different calibers were seized.
Investigations showed that seven of those people investigated were part of the same family.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with criminal conspiracy, trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics. They did not plead guilty to the charges.
A judge imposed a prison sentence
