The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted three men who would be involved in the local trafficking of narcotic substances and firearms, in Cartago (Valle del Cauca).

In a warrant that was ordered by a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca in at home located in Boulevard de Las Villas neighborhood, Sijin- National Police found marijuana, a bazooka, a pistol with a silencer and ammunition which did not have legal permits.

Therefore, Hugo Herney Ramírez Murillo, Cristian Leandro Alzate Soto and José Didier Ramírez Murillo, 40, 28 and 30, respectively, were arrested in flagrante delicto. These people were in the place where the judicial procedure was carried out.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; and trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.

A judge approved the request made by the Prosecutor’s Office and decided that the three alleged suspects must serve a prison sentence.
