After approving the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a measure of deprivation of liberty against four men investigated for the crime of theft that ocurred in different ocassions in Arauca.
Two of the people were identified as Daniel García Restrepo and Andres Felipe Avella Carrillo, who, apparently, stole a cell phone from a woman who was on a bicycle in Siete de Agosto neighborhood, on January 2.
The men were arrested in flagrante delicto by members of the National Police, after being alerted by the community.
Likewise, in another case, Stiven Oswaldo Valcárcel Cabeza and Daniel Esteban Galindo were arrested in flagrante delicto after a plan was activated by the National Police on public roads in Miramar neighborhood. They were accused of stealing a motorcycle, this January 8.
According to the videos and testimony of the victim, these people, stole the velocipede that was parked in front of a residence in the San Luis neighborhood of that city.
The defendants did nor plead guilty to the charges and by decision of the judge they were sent to prison.
