After accepting the request made by the Attorney General’s Office, a judge sentenced Deivis David Ramírez Cantillo to 25 years in prison for the crime of attempted aggravated femicide.

The evidence collected by the Prosecutor’s Office made it possible to establish his responsibility for the events that occurred on March 7, 2021 in a home in Villa Marly neighborhood, in Soledad (Atlántico) where he repeatedly attacked his former sentimental partner with a knife.

The victim was a minor when facts took place.

Ramírez Cantillo was arrested on June 7, 2022 on a public street in the aforementioned municipality and will continue in prison until the sentence is served.
