At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, a judge issued a detention measure against César Enrique Borja Cantillo, for his alleged responsibility in the death of a 73-year-old man.

The facts took place on March 21 of this year in Los Corales neighborhood of the municipality of Barrancabermeja (Santander), when apparently the arrested person attacked the victim with a firearm, who, due to the severity of the injuries, died in a hospital.

CTI officers collected extensive evidence against Borja Cantillo, 19 years old, which allowed the issuance of an arrest warrant against him on November 22.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with aggravated homicide and illegal possession of firearms. He did not plead guilty.
