The conclusive evidence provided by a prosecutor of the so-called Unidad de Vida of the Sectional Office in Bolivar was decisive for a judge to impose a prison sentence center on a 30-year-old man, allegedly responsible for causing the death of his former sentimental partner.
The facts took place on October 17 in a public establishment located in the Ternera neighborhood where the defendant allegedly injured the 42-year-old victim on multiple occasions with a sharp weapon. It is believed that the attack occurred due to the woman’s refusal to continue their romantic relationship.
Once the crime was committed, the alleged aggressor wounded himself with a knife. Workers in the place informed the National Police. The officers took the man to a medical center where he is recovering. The Prosecutor’s Office charged him aggravated femicide, but he did not plead guilty.
