One of the victims allegedly was the security guard of the commercial establishment.

The investigations that were carried out by a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Atlántico  allowed the prosecution of César Junior Navarro Jiménez, the alleged co-author of the double homicide perpetrated in a supermarket located in Ciudad Jardín neighborhood, in the north area of Barranquilla on October 3.

According to the investigation, César Alberto Molina Chávez, alias Checho, an alleged member of Los Pepes, was standing in line at the establishment when he was surprised by two people who shot him.

The security guard tried to control the situation but was killed by one of the hitmen who fled on a motorcycle driven by Navarro Jiménez.

This person, who was arrested in flagrante delicto by National Police members and   was charged with aggravated homicide as a co-author. He did not plead guilty.

A judge approved the evidence provided by the Prosecutor’s Office and imposed a prison sentence.
