The sentenced man was arrested by police officers on August 15 downtown Bucaramanga in a case of domestic violence.
Yorguin Iván Gómez León, alias Yoyis, was arrested for his responsibility in the death of Eduard Fernando León Rico to serve the sentence of 37 years and 6 months in prison that was pronounced against him.
The facts took place on December 16, 2008 in San Expedito neighborhood in the municipality of Floridablanca, the convicted man attacked the victim during a fight with a shotgun-type weapon causing his death due to the injuries.
Gómez León, who was running away from justice, was arrested by National Police officers on August 15, downtown Bucaramanga, after being involved in domestic violence issues.
