The Office of the Attorney General achieved a prison sentence for Juan Carlos Cotes Molinares responsible for the crime of prisoner escape.
The facts took place on August 6, in a sector named Altos de Comfacesar neighborhood in Valledupar (Cesar) where the defendant, who had house arrest, for the crime of domestic violence, apparently arrived to the house of his former sentimental partner.
According to the information provided by the victim, Cotes Molinares allegedly tried to attack her.
During the arrest proceeding carried out by National Police officers, the person involved allegedly resisted to identify himself to police officers.
After verifying criminal records, the Prosecutor’s Office established that there are several convictions for different crimes against this person.
