The defendants would be involved in the attacks that injured another man in the same municipality.

At the request of a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Quindío, a judge sent four men to  prison, allegedly involved in a homicide that occurred in the municipality of Calarcá.

They are Neider David Bedoya Palacios, alias Veneno; Jorge Enrique Guzmán Becerra, alias Jorgito; Luis Fernando Olaya Alzate, alias Chupamete and Jeferson Olaya Alzate, alias Pipo, who were arrested by the National Police.

The facts  occurred on January 30 in  Manantial neighborhood of the aforementioned municipality where the defendants apparently beat a man who died due to the seriousness of the injuries. A similar action was allegedly committed against another person who was medically assisted

The defendants were charged with aggravated homicide and  attempted homicide. They did not plead guilty

The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.
