At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, a judge issued a custodial measure against Daniel Ricardo Marino Diaz and Javier Pérez Rojas, who would have attacked a person in the rural area of San Juan del Cesar with a sharp weapon (La Guajira).
The facts took place on October 16 when National Police Offciers were informed about the fact that the community held the two people prisoner as they were considered responsible for stabbing of a man during a fight.
When they were asked to provide their personal identity information they gave false information. Several 9-millimeter caliber cartridges were seized.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with attempted aggravated homicide, torture, manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearms.
The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.
