A judge in Riohacha (La Guajira) imposed a prison sentence against Félix José Borja Mola, alias Félix or Care Plátano, who is apparently a member of the organized criminal group Los Pachencas.

According to the investigation, this person would be involved in forced displacement and the collection of money derived from extortion from the unions of merchants, transporters, ranchers, and hoteliers in Dibulla (La Guajira), as well as in the area of Mingueo, Palomino, and the road that leads from the department of Magdalena toLa Guajira.

Likewise, it was possible to establish that the extortion sums ranged between 100,000 thousand and 20 million pesos.

The investigative work of the Prosecutor’s Office in coordination with the National Police and Gaula of Army allowed the arrest in the Mingueo sector of Dibulla (La Guajira).

The Prosecutor’s Office charged him as allegedly responsible for the crimes of conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime, extortion and forced displacement.
