Personnel from the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) assigned to the local unit in Melgar (Tolima) of the Attorney General’s Office, in coordination with Sijin, arrested José Narciso Díaz Calle in Teatino neighborhood of the municipality of Cunday, Tolima. He was searched to serve a sentence for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, or illegal possession of firearms or ammunition.
The judicial order issued against him had been issued by the Criminal Court of the Circuit of Melgar against the 28-year-old man to serve a 9-year prison sentence.
The facts for which he was found responsible occurred on September 27, 2018, when he was arrested in flagrante delicto in possession of a firearm without the proper permit, while he was traveling through the Divino Niño neighborhood in Cunday.
