At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge deprived six alleged members of the Los Ñatos criminal structure of their freedom for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated theft; and manufacturing, trafficking or possession of firearms.
These are Jarol Eduardo Bolívar Rondón, Jefferson David Toro López, Jhon Meikel Bedoya Gutiérrez, Joan Felipe Gallego Vargas, Diego Díaz Alegría and Juan David Rodríguez Vinasco.
According to the evidence, ‘Los Ñatos’ planned the crimes in a property located in the Obrero neighborhood in Cali (Valle del Cauca) which were then carried out in the so-called Comunas 9 and 11. It is believed that he defendants apparently threatened their victims with firearms to seize their high-end vehicles and belongings.
The Prosecutor’s Office accuses them of participating in the theft of two vehicles that occurred in December 2022 and January 2023, in the Bretaña and Prados de Oriente neighborhoods, respectively.
During eight search and seizure procedures, ordered by a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Cali, Sijin personnel from National Police issued six arrest warrants on September 14.
