At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a judge sentenced José Gregorio Bracho Vásquez and José Gregorio Hernández Flórez, Venezuelan citizens, to a prison sentence for their alleged responsibility in the commission of aggravated murder.

According to the investigations, the events took place on March 8 on the road Aguachica (Cesar) that leads to Bucaramanga (Santander) where the defendants, who were transported in a truck, apparently wounded Will Eloy Barichara with a knife, causing his death in a fight.

Bracho Vásquez and Hernández Flórez were arrested in flagrante delicto by the Police.

These results respond to the investigative strategy to counteract criminal phenomena that affect public safety and that was developed under the guidelines drawn up by the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado.
