The Office of the Attorney General and the National Police arrested José Alberto Arrigui, alias Contador, leader of guerrillas named Guerrillas Unidas del Pacifico. This person will be prosecuted for crimes committed against demobilized Farc members, threats to social leaders and the shipment of tons of cocaine from the Pacific.

The Office of the Attorney General legalized the arrest of José Albeiro Arrigui Jiménez, aka Contador, before the magistrate judge in Florencia (in Spanish control de garantias) who is identified as the biggest aggressor of Farc´s demobilized people and human rights defenders.

In a hearing*, a prosecutor appointed to the Special Investigation Unit charged he defendant with aggravated criminal conspiracy, forced displacement, murder and manufacturing, possessing and trafficking firearms for the private use of Military Forces.

The Attorney General’s Office and the National Police arrested José Albeiro Arrigui Jiménez, alias Contador, in a rural area of Aguas Calientes in Morelia (Caquetá) where he allegedly arrived to form illegal alliances with residual groups in that region.
