In Nabusímake, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (Magdalena), during the launch of the entity’s headquarters in Pueblo Bello (Cesar), the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, provided details of a new investigative action that allowed the clarification of collective murders.

Alias ​​Micuya, an alleged member of the ELN José María Becerra front, was arrested with the support of the National Police, for his alleged participation in a criminal action in which five people died and two others were injured on November 21, 2020 in El Mango, a small town in Algeria (Cauca).

“I want to express that the Office of the Attorney General continues fulfilling its duty, continues clarifying these crimes and, of course, we continue producing results to the people in Cauca and also to our ancestral communities”, stated the Attorney General, Barbosa Delgado.

Alias ​​Micuya will be brought before a supervisory judge. The Office of the Attorney General will charge him with aggravated murder, conspiracy to commit a crime, and manufacture, trafficking and firearms possession.

Due to these same facts, and thanks to a work coordinated with the National Police, the Office of the Attorney General achieved the prosecution of Reneider Juzpián, on November 23, 2020, two days after the multiple murder took place. This person provided information that made it possible to locate the victims’ corpses.
