The Office of the Attorney General prioritized investigations related to gender-based violence in order to make progress in the effective prosecution of those people responsible and guarantee the protection of victims. In this sense, the model to file complaints remains the same and all the human, scientific and logistical capacity has been at disposal to advance in the clarification of these events.
Protocols during the sanitary emergency
During the period of mandatory preventive isolation, and understanding the complexity of the scenarios of violence at homes, the Office of the Attorney General adopted an internal protocol for prosecutors and investigators to guarantee promptness and effectiveness in the investigations.
