At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the 19th Municipal Court issued a detention order with imprisonment against Ricardo Alfonso Galvis Martín for the crimes of aggravated robbery and disturbance of public or collective transport.
In a public hearing, Galvis Martín pled guilty to the charges filed against him due to facts that took place on November 22 when he took advantage of the protests in the city to steal a SITP bus in Ciudad Bolívar, south area of Bogotá, and he crashed it against a supermarket which helped many of the protesters to enter the place and steal merchandise from the shelves.
