In the last hours, the Office of the Attorney General General managed to get a judge in Cúcuta (Norte de Santander) to issue preventive measures for nine people who would be part of a transnational drug trafficking organization that used Venezuela as a platform to send drugs to Central America.
The legal action carried out by the Special Directorate against Drug Trafficking (Dirección Especializada contra el Narcotráfico (DECN), National Police and foreign authorities allowed the dismantling of a criminal structure linked to the Sinaloa cartel (Mexico), the ELN and Los Pelusos.
