Before the First Specialized Court of Bucaramanga (Santander), the Office of the Attorney General formally accused Juan Guillermo Valderrama Amézquita for the death of his former couple, the Chilean citizen Ilse Amory Ojeda González.
According to investigations, the prosecuting body charged him with aggravated feminicide and aggravated disappearance. The latter offense was appealed by the Inspector General´s Office and Ojedas’ defense attorney.
Likewise, the Office of the Attorney General has showed the results of the psychiatric exams carried out on the accused by the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses) as part of the evidence against Valderrama Amézquita.
