John Freddy Yepes Hoyos, alias Clemente, who is considered the maximun ringleader of the criminal group named Grupo de Delincuencia Organizada (GDO) La Oficina was arrested in Antioquia in the last hours. This group operates in Medellin and Antionquia. The arrested man was leading the criminal group after Juan Carlos Mesa Vallejo, alias Tom, was arrested in Guatapé, Antioquia.
Yepes Hoyos was arrested in the framework of the so-called ‘Hades’ operation as a result of a joint operation carried out by the Office of the Attorney General and National Police in the municipality named el Retiro – (Antioquia).
