Contractors were charged for alleged irregularities in the construction of two boarding schools to benefit indigenous people in Meta

These were  boarding schools aimed at assisting vulnerable people. The patrimonial detriment of these two contracts would be close to 4,000 million pesos. A mayor and several of his employees are also investigated for the same facts.

The Office of the Attorney General is in the first stage of an investigation aimed at establishing whether there were irregularities in the works for the construction of several boarding schools in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán (Meta).

Due to these facts, investigators have closely monitored in this first part of investigations the contractors who allegedly committed execution of contract without compliance with legal requirements and embezzlement in favor of third parties.
