The Office of the Attorney General arrested 7 people and submitted copies to Supreme Court in order for the Court to investigate the representative Eduardo José Tous de la Ossa and senator Musa Besaile.

Based on more than 1.000 hours of wiretappings, document analysis, surveillances, follow-up works and a least one year of investigation, the Office of the Attorney General was able to demonstrate, once again, the intervention of congressmen in the irregular award of contracts in exchange for bribes.

In this case, it would be a criminal organization that awarded contracts in the Financial Fund named Fonade (Fondo Financiero de Proyectos de Desarrollo) to people, who despite the fact that they did not comply with the legal requirements, they were beneficiaries due to their relationship with congressmen.
