Fake medicines, expensive and complex medicines for medical treatments in high risk patients were faked and smuggled by a criminal network which operated in the Departments of Antioquia and Nariño.
The members of this organization who put Colombian citizens’ lives at risk sold medicines to drugstores and distributors who were in charge of taking them to dispensaries and health centers. Products were illegally obtained.
