Fight against drug trafficking
The Office of the Attorney General and National Police authorities arrested six people who were accused of trafficking cocaine vests from El Dorado airport in the city Bogotá to France, United Kingdom, and Dominican Republic. Five of them worked in an airline and took advantage of the fact that they had the possibility to move easily inside the terminal in order to hand the vests over to travelers in the boarding gates. These travelers worked for this criminal organization.
The arrest of these travelers wearing vests with drugs or hidden in their baggage has revealed a criminal behavior which took place in international boarding gates of El Dorado airport in the city of Bogotá.
