123 people were arrested in 16 departments due to commission of kidnapping and extortion offenses

The operation let to rescue two kidnapped individuals and dismantling five (5) criminal organizations

The Office of the Attorney General and Gaula (Army), as part of the so-called Odín operation, carried out 50 judicial proceedings between October 20 and 31 in sixteen Departments of the country which allowed to arrest 123 people and dismantle 5 criminal organizations involved in the commission of kidnappings and extortions in the whole country. Moreover, two people were also rescued in Norte de Santander and Antioquia.

Elite Gaula Nr.2 (Army) and Battalion against Drug Trafficking Nr. 4 rescued a citizen who was kidnapped by an armed group (Grupo Armado Organizado (GAO)) and seized two 5,56 mm rifles, two uniforms belonging to National Police, two ELN bracelets, and Army´s equipment.
