At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a judge ordered a prison sentence on Jhon Jairo Vargas Lesmes, alleged member of the criminal group Los Mostros, involved in local drug trafficking in Ibagué (Tolima). 

A prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Tolima (Seccional Tolima) charged him with conspiracy to commit a crime and trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges. 

According to the investigation, Vargas Lesmes allegedly sold doses of marijuana and bazuco in the marketplace located on 21st Street and neighborhoods La Estación, Hipódromo, San Pedro Alejandrino, La Cartagena, Garzón, and El Carmen. 

The National Police arrested this person in a public area of Ibagué. In November 2025, nine alleged members of the aforementioned criminal group were prosecuted.
