to evade authorities.

The investigations carried out against theft and drug trafficking in Girardot (Cundinamarca) revealed the illegal actions committed by a criminal group known as ‘Solo Valle’.

Five of its alleged members were identified, and a prosecutor belonging to the so-called Estructura de Apoyo- EDA (Support Structure Unit) of the branch office in Cundinamarca (Seccional Cundinamarca) brought them before a judge and charged them with conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated robbery, and trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics.

The people involved are Jean Carlo García Peralta, Rigo Alfonso Cruz Ortiz, Cristian Camilo Tafúr Serrano, Jehan José Vicent Rondón and Santiago Alejandro Reyes Flórez, who did not plead guilty to the charges and were sent to prison.

The investigation established that ‘Los del Valle’ had been committing crimes since 2023 in neighborhoods such as Valle del Sol, Santa Isabel, Los Guaduales, and Parque de la Juventud. In these areas, they sold marijuana and cocaine disguised in handmade cigarettes with fruit drawings, which they distributed at sales points agreed upon with buyers.

It was also revealed that this group allegedly participated in robberies of commercial establishments using firearms.

The people under investigation were arrested during search warrants carried out by the National Police. During the raids, doses of hallucinogens were seized.
